We have been awarded the Dementia Quality Mark for providing excellent support to our residents. The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. It monitors and inspects services, to make sure they are safe, effective and provide high-quality care. Inside the home we have a total of 42 single bedrooms across our 3 units which are separated by gender and the level of care needed.

We have built relationships with many external organisations who visit our residents providing fun and entertainment. Opticians and chiropodists also regularly visit our care homes where there are on-site facilities including hairdressing, reflexology and beauty treatments. Liddercare understands how important relationships between friends and family are to residents, which is why visitors are welcomed to our care homes every day of the week. Our Activities Co-Ordinator supports residents to contact loved ones by phone, internet, mail and photographs.

– the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service. Get in touch with our friendly team at Lidder Care today to discuss your nursing care needs. To achieve the best outcomes for each and every individual in our care, we involve loved ones and representatives from multi-disciplinary teams to form a care plan for new residents and ensure their needs are met.
The care plan will be continually reviewed with the resident’s family to ensure each individual’s growing needs are always met. Inspections of the services this provider runs can be found in the Services section. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them. – the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve. Our infection prevention and control inspections look at how well people using a service are kept safe from the spread of infections. Interaction with fellow residents means less chance of feeling lonely and isolated.
